New Resorts WorldBET app goes live from Resorts World New York

It has been announced today that a brand new sports betting app, Resorts WorldBET, has gone live from Resorts World New York, a casino-hotel owner and operator in New York City that has been running since just over a decade.

The app has been launched just in time for March Madness, a single-elimination basketball tournament played in the United States, and today accepted its first wager successfully in New York.

This is a momentous occasion for the operator and marks a significant milestone in the history of Resorts World New York as it looks to create a fast mobile sports betting service that will compete wit already-established brands in America.

According to reports, one of the core reasons for the mobile sports betting app at this moment in time is to meet the need and demand from players and sports enthusiasts in the region.

Using feedback from the operators Catskills and Las Vegas properties, Resorts World New York has been able to create and deliver a mobile sports betting app that New Yorkers want.

On this venture, the operator has linked-up with innovative technology firm and sports betting specialist PointsBet to provide a platform that will assist Resorts WorldBET in its success.

To mark the launch and coincide with the first day of operation of the app, Resorts World New York City has installed a number of digital displays at its property to the tune of almost $1 million, in which big sporting games will be shown throughout the year.

Robert DeSalvio of Genting Americas East commented on the new sports betting app and outlined what sports fans can expect to see:

This is something our players and sports enthusiasts have wanted for a long time, and we’re excited to say Resorts World New York now has mobile sports betting.

From our experience in having a Sportsbook in both our Catskills and Las Vegas properties, we were able to take feedback from our players and deliver what New Yorkers really want in a mobile sports betting app.

By partnering with an innovative product and technology focused company in PointsBet as our platform provider, we believe Resorts WorldBET will only add to our success.

Darlene Monzo, also of Genting America’s East shared comments on the momentous occasion:

For us, it’s all about providing a complete world class gaming experience and delivering the latest technology to our guests and loyal customers.

Our players trust us, and we’re excited to provide a safe way for them to place their favourite sports bets through the Resorts WorldBET app, which they can do from the comfort of their couch, or in the big screen environment of Bar 360 in Queens, or Sportsbook 360 at Resorts World Catskills.
