New Gran Casino partnership sees Gaming1 enter market in the Netherlands

It has been announced today that leading sports betting and gaming provider, Gaming1, will enter the market in the Netherlands, following a new partnership with local land-based casino operator Gran Casino.

The partnership is a joint venture between the companies and will see the provider make its debut in the country and provide Dutch players with a true online experience.

Gran Casino is a leading operator of offline casino hotels and works closely in partnership with Van der Valk, which has a solid hospitality reputation in European and Caribbean markets.

According to reports, the operator will utilise the proprietary platform for casino and sports betting from Gaming1 to provide a truly next generation experience for online casino gaming.

Additionally, this partnership not only brings together experienced firms with a shared vision, but also provides the operator with the opportunity of entering the digital gaming and betting vertical for the first time in its history.

Furthermore, the online offering from the local land-based casino operator will go live under the providers Circus brand.

In a company first, the Circus branded casino site will also make its debut in the Dutch market, having already established itself in major regulated markets around the world, including Peru, France, Serbia and Belgium.

What’s more, along with providing the operator with its proprietary platform for betting and gaming, Gaming1 will also supply an array of online casino gaming content across multiple product verticals, including online slots and casino table games.

Currently, Gaming1 has built up an extensive portfolio of games that it will integrate as part of the link-up, including Money Drop, Fakir Slot, Cash of Lords, Karak Forge, Kassius Invictus Armis, Boost Racers, Five Raiders and Cirtacus.

Sylvain Boniver of Gaming1 commented on the partnership and entry to the market in the Netherlands:

With a track record of success spanning multiple regulated markets across the globe, our unique partnership model brings together expertise from both parties to deliver the ultimate omni-channel consumer experience.

We’re delighted to partner with Gran Casino and Van der Valk, and given our home markets of Belgium and France, it’s certainly an incredibly proud moment for us all to announce our long-expected entrance into one of Europe’s most exciting new regulated jurisdictions.

Frank Kastelijns of Gran Casino also commented on the launch of its digital gambling space:

The Dutch online market holds a wealth of opportunity, and we’re excited to partner with Gaming1, who brings an established reputation for transforming its partners operations into a true online experience.

We’re sure that together we’ll be able to introduce players to one of the best online gaming catalogues available.

Gert van der Valk of Van der Valk International concluded with comments on the news:

Bringing together Gaming1, one of Europe’s market leaders, with Gran Casino and Van der Valk International, shows how far our ambitions go for Holland’s players. Together we will take gaming and hospitality to new heights with our unique gaming experience.
