Relax Gaming enters Italian market via PokerStars

Online casino game developer and aggregator, Relax Gaming, has today announced that the brand is to enter the Italian market for the first time via a new link-up with gambling operator PokerStars.

The provider of unique iGaming content has struck a new partnership with the operator group that will see a variety of proprietary titles make their debut in Italy, which is one of the leading online gambling destinations in Europe.

As part of the agreement, PokerStars will significantly boost its existing games offering in the market and provide Italian customers with a greater diversity of real money games to play, including ‘fan favourites’ Money Train 2 and Temple Tumble.

Additionally, as a leading gambling operator in the country, this partnership will not only see the provider enter a new market for the first time, but also increase both footprint and customer reach significantly across Europe.

Furthermore, as part of the initial link-up, the online casino operator will also gain access to a selection of third-party gaming content over the coming weeks, from iGaming development partners of Relax Gaming, via the Silver Bullet and Powered By Relax programmes.

According to reports, this move by Relax Gaming marks a large milestone in the companies history and is inline with the brands strategy for growth and expansion in the region, with additional operator partnerships expected to be announced in the coming months.

Alexia Smilovic Rønde of Relax Gaming commented on the brands latest partnership with PokerStars:

Entering the Italian market is another major milestone on Relax’s path to increase its footprint across regulated European jurisdictions. Italy holds the crown as one of the continent’s most established markets, and we’re ready to show what we can do when it comes to driving differentiation.

With a competitive landscape that offers a wealth of opportunities for providers of premium gaming content such as us, I’m sure we’re going to see excellent results.

Nadiya Attard, also of Relax Gaming added comments about the link-up and why it was made:

It’s with great pride that we enter into operations within the Italian online gaming market with a B2C powerhouse like PokerStars.

Their long-standing reputation and local demand will offer Relax Gaming an exceptional start in a leading market.

We look forward to launching our proprietary content within Italy with leading titles, and the business growth to come.
