Online gambling company Aspire Global Plc confirmed that they have entered into an acquisition deal with online casino content developer Pariplay.
With the €13.1 million cash deal, Aspire Global is looking to expand its horizons in the US market. Commenting on the deal, the gaming company said that it would allow them to “control yet another crucial part of the iGaming value chain.”
While the two parties have confirmed the deal it is subject to regulatory approval. The deal is expected to be closed in the next three months.
Pariplay, owned by GMS Entertainment, is headquartered in the Isle of Man and has about 70 full-time employees.
The company holds licenses by the gambling regulators of the UK, Malta, Curacao, and Romania, and Gibraltar. It recently received an iGaming certification for the provision of its products in New Jersey.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Aspire Global CEO Tsachi Maimon said: “The integration of Pariplay grants us control of yet another crucial part of the iGaming value chain – cutting costs, broadening the game portfolio and providing a channel to sell propriety games outside Aspire Global network.”
Pariplay CEO and Founder Gili Lisani said that they have come a long way and that he feels “confident about sending the company off for the next phase of the growth journey.”
