Aspire Global Closes €13.1m Pariplay Acquisition Deal

Aspire Global has closed the acquisition deal with GMS Entertainment, the company that owns the gaming content services provider Pariplay. The gambling operator had announced a €13.1m acquisition deal earlier in June this year.

Aspire Global now owns all of GMS shares and had secured necessary regulatory permissions. The company hopes to benefit from improved EBITDA from the next fiscal following the deal.

Tsachi Maimon, CEO at Aspire Global, expressed delight at the deal: “We are excited to welcome the Pariplay team to Aspire Global. The acquisition of Pariplay is in line with our M&A-strategy focusing on B2B-growth and external game sales.

“The integration of Pariplay grants us control of yet another crucial part of the igaming value chain – cutting costs, broadening the game portfolio and providing a channel to sell and distribute proprietary games outside Aspire Global network.

“Moreover, Pariplay holds an igaming license for New Jersey, which could act as the spearhead of our future efforts to enter the US market”.

Pariplay, owned by GMS Entertainment, is headquartered in the Isle of Man and has about 70 full-time employees.

The company holds licenses by the gambling regulators of the UK, Malta, Curacao, and Romania, and Gibraltar. It recently received an iGaming certification for the provision of its products in New Jersey.
