Atlantic City Borgata Casino has revealed its plans to invest $12 million in sports betting project and also in adding amenities at the gambling venue.
Casino’s management has said that they would be launching a new project – Moneyline Bar and Book on June 29.
The new project includes adding a sports bar and opening sports betting facilities at the casino. The new proposed bar and lounge to be added to the gambling venue has been named Level One.
Borgata Casino’s President, Marcus Glover said, “We knew we wanted to provide our guests with an experience that was more than a transactional venue for sports wagering, We felt Borgata’s guests deserved something that would advance the market by bringing together sports, culinary, entertainment, gaming, and nightlife into a destination experience.”
According to the plans revealed, the Borgata casino will host six new sports betting windows. Customers will also be able to enjoy table games and slot machines which would be available in the bar and the lounge areas.
Several states have already launched sports betting following the US Supreme Court decision last year which paved the way for sports betting legalization.
Currently, around 10 US states have already legalized sports betting and others are in the process.
