10 Bet has got a new brand ambassador – former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The footballer has struck a two-year partnership deal with the online sports betting operator following which Drogba will serve as the operator’s global brand ambassador and promote its products.
According to the reports, Drogba will specifically promote the online sports betting brand in the UK and Asia. He is also set to make appearances at the brand’s major live events.
The company featured its new brand ambassador in a marketing campaign it launched across all its social media platforms. The promotional video shows Drogba as a fan of football.
Commenting on the deal with Drogba, a 10bet spokesman said: “Didier is one of the most successful and popular sports stars in the world” and that his multiple titles and accolades have “earned him the name ‘the ultimate big game player’, making him a natural fit for our partnership.”
Recently, Chelsea and Liverpool ended their ties with the online betting company 1XBET after Tottenham also announced to come out of the partnership deal with the Russian online gambling operator.
The football clubs ended their relationship with the gambling operator after the UK Gambling commission suspended the license of 1XBET.
The online gambling operator 1xBet’s operations in other jurisdictions allowed betting on cockfights and also permitted wagers on under-19 athletic competitions which prompted the gambling commission to launch an investigation into the company’s operations while suspending its license with immediate effect.
