Galaxy Macau launches new in house ‘Direct Premium’ VIP Club.

Macau Casino Operator Galaxy Entertainment group has rolled out a new high Roller area in its Flagship Galaxy Macau Property.

GEG announced the debut of JinMen 8, its new VIP gaming Club at the top of Ritz Carlton Hotel at Galaxy Macau. The opening has three years in the making and the Company claims to have spent MOP300m making sure there was exactly the right amount of Gold Leaf, Marble and Ming vases lying about.

Over 200 GEG staff have been allocated to attend the whims and needs of JinMen 8 guests, including an “exclusively appointed Executive Chef”, who has no doubt spend the past three years force feeding beluga caviar to ducks and geese to create an even more expensive version of foie gras.

The new VIP area encompasses a main floor featuring 18 gaming tables at which merely semi rich can feel free to gamble on at these tables.

JimMen is GEG’s in house VIP brand, and it comes to cater to ‘Direct Premium’ gamblers, to whom GEG directly extend credit rather than utilizing the services of a junket middle man. That spares GEG the pain od having to share a gambler’s losses with the junket but exposes the company to a full risk should that gambler prove unwilling or unable to honor his or her maker.

GGRasia quoted Benedict Wan, GeG’s VP for international premium and mass market development, saying that the company planned an official launch party for the new club on Saturday.
