GVC Holdings has announced that its bwin entity has raised €50,000 for the one drop charity following the completion of its recent Hazard Series.
Hazard, Commenting on his own partnership, said: “I was excited to be involved in the Hazard Series with bwin. I Love poker and the unique mental challenges it poses. Importantly, it’s great that through the Hazard Series, bwin has supported such a special charity as One Drop.”
Players entered the series through freeroll qualifier tournaments for the UK poker Millions earlier in the year, with bwin making a donation to one drop on the Player’s behalf for each entry.
Adam Lewis, chief marketing officer said: “We are immensely proud to support one drop and the incredible work they do. With Hazard Series we created something special for our players who were able to show their support for a fantastic cause, while enjoying the best poker product of any Sportsbook in the market.”
