NagaCorp, the casino monopoly in Cambodia has revealed its plans for the ambitious Naga3 project. The company plans to add 4,720 additional hotel rooms with five new towers. It claims that with the latest developments in place NagaWorld Integrated Resort will become the “largest riverine integrated resort in the world.”
The covered area for the project will be 544,801 square meters with two 66-storey hotel towers, two 53-storey hotel towers, a 55-storey condotel tower. Besides the venue the construction will include a three-level basement and a 12-storey podium.
In a statement to the press revealing the details of the Naga3 project the company said, “The Naga3 Project will showcase a lifestyle product consisting of gaming and non-gaming spaces and comprise amenities and facilities which are not available at Naga1 and Naga2, notably hi-tech virtual reality interactive indoor theme parks, more shopping and MICE facilities and family recreational areas to impart a more satisfying, penetrating and complete visitation experience. The company anticipates that these branded resorts will feature the finest quality of any hotels in Asia.”
Naga Corp has exclusive casino and gambling rights in Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh. It enjoys a license valid for 70 years till 2065. It also has no restrictions imposed on expanding the gaming space and adding gaming infrastructure. The company can add up to 800 more gaming tables and 2,500 EGMs in addition to what it has now.
Also, on Wednesday, the company posted a GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) for the first quarter of 2019. The first quarter GGR for NagaCorp is up 32% year-on-year to US $321.2 million.
