Rainer Kempe And Maria Ho At It again! The Duo Wins The $25,000 High Roller Events At LAPC

The exceptional couple, Rainer Kempe and Maria Ho, made history once again at the LAPC $25,000 High Roller event by winning the first prizes. With the biggest players in the world converging at the Triton Poker Series Jeju, the German poker star stayed back in Los Angeles to win more titles.

The Poker Player of the Year of Germany, 2018 GPI, has taken Josh Gordon down heads-up, winning the first prize of $270,705 USD in the $25,500 High Roller at the LAPC Commerce Casino. In this year alone, Rainer Kempe has won a total of four titles, which include the $25,000AUD Challenge at Aussie Millions, a $10,000 USD Turbo at PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, and the huge $50,000 No Limit Hold’em.

His latest victory increased his net worth in live tournament earnings to a total of $19.8 million USD. With the way he is going, Rainer Kempe might take over the Global Player Index (GPI) World number 3 from David Peters. However, this largely depends on how he performs at the event in Jeju. It is of import to mention that Kempe’s latest win is the 16th win in the course of his career. He is currently in the second position of the Global Poker Index 2019 Player of the Year race, which places him behind Sean Winter.

A total of 28 players were attracted to the second LAPC $25K High Roller event and playing against each other heads-up, the Number one and Number two GPI players, Kristen Bicknell and Maria Ho, girlfriends of Sir Alex Foxen and Rainer Kempe, and on a special day such as on her birthday, Maria Ho won the title. This is the second time Kempe and Ho would win titles during the same event. During the WPTDeep Stacks Main Event at Johannesburg, Ho won, and Kempe also won the High Roller event at the same event.

Still on LAPC event, Anthony Spinella won the $5,250 No Limit Hold’em event beating Andrew Lichtenberger heads-up in a field of 87 participants. He won the first prize of $108,005. At this event, Bicknell finished in the seventh position. Cord Garcia also won at the $2,140 No Limit Hold’em event, conquering 98 other participants in the event, including the final table that included Sorel Mizzi, Ari Engel, and Sorel Mizzi. Cord won a total of $49,050 at this event. Still in LAPC news, Mohsin Charania has been reported to have won an 85 entrants field to bank the first prize of $22,005 at the $1,100 No Limit Hold’em poker event.
