Synot Games Taps Into The Spanish Online Gambling Market With Casino Gran Madrid

Synot Games has entered the Spanish online gambling market expanding its European presence with a deal with Casino Gran Madrid online.

Following the deal, Synot games will have a part of its portfolio of games go live in the Spanish market for the first time.

Synot gaming which holds a license from Malta Gaming Authority is authorized to offer games in several regulated European markets including Italy, Sweden, Denmark, and Portugal.

Commenting on the deal, Ivan Kodaj, CEO of Synot, said: “Launching our games in the thriving Spanish market Spain is wonderful news and we are happy to continue our growth with a leading operator like Casino Gran Madrid online. We are looking forward to a prosperous long-term partnership.”

Casino Gran Madrid operates several land-based venues including casinos at Torrelodones, Colón, and Benalmádena. The casino also has two igaming licenses for Casino Gran Madrid Online and Casino Gran Madrid 7 Estrellas, exclusive for Madrid residents.

While Spain’s online gambling market has been expanding, under-performed in the second quarter of 2019. According to the latest figures released by Spain’s Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) the online gambling revenue for three months to June 30 was recorded €178.4 million.

Though the figure represents a year-on-year increase in revenue of 6.7 percent, when compared with the previous quarter, the revenue dropped by 7.9 percent.
