It was was easy for William Hill as all they had to do was to rebrand their Redbet.Se site. The company had acquired Redbet from the MRG group in a SEK2.82bn (£225.5m/€263.1m/$294.3m) deal earlier in January this year. MRG owns Redbet’s parent company Evoke Gaming.
Talking of the new development, Patrick Jonker, International managing director at William Hill said: “This is an important milestone in William Hill’s International journey. Through fantastic teamwork between our teams in Malta, UK and Sweden we have released William Hill’s first new locally licensed offering since 2011.”
The company has localized its sportsbook to cater to the taste and preferences of the Swedish gamblers. As such they have multiple local sports like trotting, football and ice hockey, as well as bandy, and winter sports.
The rebranded platform also offers various table and slot games including Vegas Speed Roulette, Monopoly Live and Lightning Roulette.
William Hill is also capitalizing on the Evoke Gaming’s Swedish license to carry on with their operations under their brand.
“We are proud to offer our players a fantastic player experience with one of the strongest and most diverse casino and live casino products in the market. Following this initial launch, we look forward to continually improving the product through additional features and functionalities over the coming months,” explained Jonker.
